Well haven't updated for a while as my mum has been very ill. I had started what was to be the medicine to remove metals by December and almost immediately started to have symptoms although I didn't realize it at that point. Over the weeks I did know there was something going on but again wasn't certain, but I considered that too many metals were being mobilized. I then started to get a bit forgetful again and considered the symptoms I'd had - chest pain, dizziness, marked eczema, one bout of joint pain and by this point a little memory interruption and felt I was back at square one. Some eyebrow hair had also fallen out also and of course that was the reason I had stopped the chelation.
The benefit this time is I'm doing this under the guidance of a practitioner and I was advised to stop the medication except IMD to remove mercury from the gut and it was a minute dose. I did improve although I definitely felt fatigue which was new for me. I was at this point thinking it was a mixture of the medication and thiol foods due to the dietary changes, however, I had blood, urine and hair analysis for mercury and the results showed that I had some mineral deficiencies. This apparently happens as the metals go into the cells and these deficiencies affect the ability to detox so you can't get rid of what is mobilized rather than an intolerance of thiol foods. My blood mercury levels are now low which is great considering they should be with amalgam removal and 18 months FCT/chelation. Hair analysis showed Aluminum - which would have been affecting my memory, and Arsenic which apparently causes hair to fall out so I take it that is why I'm losing eyebrow hair. I'm awaiting advice on dietary changes and the program to be followed for the time being.
